Your data

What happens to your data, in plain words.

The formal version is the privacy notice. This page is the same thing said the way I would say it on the phone.

The short version

  • This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics. Nobody is counting your visit.
  • No Google Fonts and no third-party design libraries — those quietly send your IP address abroad, so the site uses the fonts already on your device.
  • I do not track whether you opened an email from me.
  • Everything about your dog is private unless you deliberately share it.
  • You can export everything, and you can delete everything.

What is stored, and only that

If you visit this websiteNothing about you is stored by me. The web server keeps ordinary access logs (IP address, page, time) the way every web server does, which my hosting provider keeps for a short period for security and troubleshooting.
If you join a breeder's waiting listYour name, email, optionally a phone number, and what you told the breeder you are looking for. That goes to that breeder and nowhere else. It is not shown to other breeders and never appears publicly.
If you answer the twice-a-year questionThe date you answered and which of the two buttons you pressed. That is the whole point of it, and it is also all of it.
If you keep a dog's recordWhat you put in: the dog's details, microchip number, pedigree, vaccinations, test results, documents and photographs you upload, and who else in your household has access.
If you are a breederYour kennel details, your dogs, your litters, your list, and your private notes about families. Your notes are yours; families do not see them.

Who can see what

Health information about your dog is never shared by default. It is visible to you and to the people in your household you give access to. If you send a time-limited link to a vet or a boarding kennel, they see what that link opens, for as long as you leave it open.

A breeder sees the dogs they bred only if the family chooses to keep that connection open. That is the family's decision, not the breeder's and not mine.

Who else is involved

Running any service means a small number of companies handle data on my instructions. There are three, and no others:

Neoserv d.o.o., SloveniaHosts this website and the email address on it.
SupabaseHosts the application database and the files you upload, on servers in the European Union.
esm.shA public code library service. When you open the application, your browser fetches one software library from it, which means your IP address is visible to that service for that request. Nothing about you or your dog is sent.

If that third line looks unusually technical for a privacy page, that is deliberate. Most sites do not mention it. It is the kind of thing you would want to know, so it is written down.

Taking it away, or deleting it

Every account can export everything it holds, in a format you can open without special software. Every account can be deleted, and deletion means the records go, not that a flag gets set.

A dog's record is never tied to a breeder's subscription. If a breeder stops using Pablo, the families' records stay exactly where they are.

Ask me

If you want to know what is held about you, or want it gone, write to tina@pablorecords.eu. One email is enough and you do not need to explain why.
